Office Assistants are responsible for the daily operation of the 24-hour Information Desk of the residence hall/apartment. This position supports the Business Operations Supervisor by providing exceptional customer service and guidance to residents and guests, enforcing departmental policies, troubleshooting challenges, and facilitating appropriate referrals to building management and other University entities.
Office Assistants play a key role in building safety and security through key management, understanding and implementing emergency procedures, and collaboration with the Security Monitors (SMs) and Community Advisors (CAs). The Office Assistant's complete administrative tasks associated with the information desk, as well as provide tours to prospective students and families.
