• Move-In Directions & Parking

    Family Driving

Updated September 8, 2020

Be well. Be prepared.

We will welcome students to their on-campus home via an extended move-in period (note: move-in appointments are required for residence halls). The following are expectations of all residents (apartment and residence hall) and helpers:

  • Continue to practice good health habits such as hand hygiene and maintaining at least six feet of physical distance from others.
  • Face coverings (masks) are required at all times in enclosed or indoor spaces on campus and outside where physical distancing is difficult.
  • Roommates must coordinate in advance to move in at different times.
  • There will not be additional move-in volunteers in the buildings.
  • Students will be limited to no more than two helpers inside the building.
  • Respect posted signs noting occupancy requirements for shared spaces and elevators.

Residence hall residents must arrive during your move-in appointment only. We will not be able to accommodate those arriving early or late. All residence hall appointments are 60 minutes. This includes checking-in, loading belongings from your vehicle into provided moving carts, unloading belongings into your room, and leaving or having your helpers depart immediately after your appointment is over. This limited time is critical to supporting community safety. The goal is to expedite the process and reduce congestion in common areas, entrances, elevators, and stairwells so people can move smoothly. The strict schedule also gives our staff time to clean carts and other high touch surfaces as well as provide other resident support.

Read complete Move-In Instructions.

Apartment residents may arrive any time after 8:00 AM on August 15. It is strongly recommended that you move in before September 15  to avoid congestion with residence hall move-in appointments.

The resident must check-in at the Information Desk for further instructions. Please quickly unload your cart in your room and return empty carts per your building's instructions. Staff will then clean and prepare carts for the next resident.

Health & Safety

Prevention is key. All are encouraged to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. Students and their move-in helpers are also encouraged to avoid potential exposure to COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to arrival on campus, including avoiding group gatherings where physical distancing cannot be maintained.

If you or one of your helpers are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, do not come to campus before consulting Boynton Health or another healthcare provider. Contact our staff about your options to reschedule your appointment. Your health and the health of your neighbors and building team are our first priority.
