Bike Storage

University Village is happy to provide residents with a heated, secured bike room. It is accessible via the lobby with your FOB, with a door opening to the front of the building towards University Ave. The bicycle room is open to all east side residents, but registering your bike with the Info Desk is encouraged. While the room is secured and only accessible by residents, a high-quality lock (e.g. U-Lock, Kryptonite bar lock) is highly recommended. The University is not responsible for bicycle damage or theft.

University Village residents have the option to opt-in to on-site heated underground parking for an added monthly cost. The cost for a reserved spot is $80/month for cars, $15/month for scooters and motorcycles. An assigned spot requires a contract term commitment. Payment is due upfront or through monthly withdrawals from your bank account. Overnight parking permits are available for $5/night and are valid until midnight the following day. The garage is on the ground floor of the complex, accessible via 4th Street SE. All vehicles parked in the University Village garage are required to have a valid permit.

Vehicles parked without a valid permit will be towed at the owner's expense. The surface lot located at the front of the building is reserved for retail customers. Residents may not park in the surface lot at any time. For more information, call 855-876-0524 during normal business hours.

For information on University parking contracts, visit Parking & Transportation Services.

UV Contract Length

One of the unique features of University Village is that the University provides a housing contract that begins on August 15 and ends on May 31. This contract term does not require staying through the summer months and that flexibility is not typically offered in other non-university managed apartment facilities. The monthly/semester rate is somewhat higher as a result of the flexibility provided with this contract. For students to extend their contracts through the summer term, they may apply for summer housing and receive an assignment in a different building.
