Move-in Guide

November Break

All residence halls and apartments are open November 25-28, and there is no extra charge for residents staying in their space. Note: dining halls are closed after lunch on Wednesday, November 24, and meal service resumes with brunch on November 28.

Winter Break

Apartment buildings remain open during winter break. Most residence halls will be closed until 8 am on January 15 (Centennial and 17th Avenue may remain open). Dining hall meal service ends with lunch on December 22 and resumes with brunch on January 15.

Winter break housing for residence hall students is available for an additional fee of $35 per night and is not guaranteed to be in currently assigned spaces.

As you make plans for the end of your fall semester and winter break, please follow these general tips to ensure a smooth transition for fall closing.

Key Details

  1. Continue to practice preventative measures such as wearing a cloth face covering and practicing good hand hygiene.
  2. Bring your own packing materials – boxes, bins, bags – to transport items you’re bringing home for now (carts will be available).
  3. Keep your U Card with you at all times for building access.
  4. Discard all trash, recyclables, and perishable items.

Read each of the following dropdowns carefully.
