Housing Guarantee

The housing application is updated on our website in mid-November.

You can apply for housing at any time once the application is available. You do not need to wait to be informed that you have been accepted to the University.

No, however, you must be admitted to the University to be guaranteed housing.

Housing will start sending out housing guarantee offers on February 11, 2025.

Incoming students must pay the housing guarantee fee by the deadline to have space reserved for them. Housing sends housing guarantee offers to eligible first-year students as applications are reviewed.

The Housing Guarantee Fee is separate from any other payment you may have already paid to the University (for example, the $50 housing application fee or the $325 enrollment confirmation fee). Paying the Housing Guarantee Fee is how students inform Housing & Residential Life that they accept our Housing Guarantee offer because they have decided to live in on-campus housing.

1. Log into the Resident Portal.
2. Navigate to your 2025-2026 Application.
3. Navigate to the Guarantee Payment page of your application. 
4. Select "Make Guarantee Payment".
5. Enter your Billing Address, then you will be routed to Cybersource, our secure payment vendor.

New applicants are allowed to cancel their University housing application-contract anytime until August 1, 2025 to receive a refund of their $200 Housing Guarantee payment.
