Office Assistant

Assist with daily operations for your building!

The Office Assistant position supports the 24-hour Information Desk and the Business Operations Supervisor by providing exceptional customer service and guidance to residents and guests, enforcing departmental policies, troubleshooting challenges, and facilitating appropriate referrals to building management and other University entities.

Office Assistants play a key role in building safety and security through key management, understanding and implementing emergency procedures, and collaboration with the Security Monitors (SMs) and Community Advisors (CAs). The Office Assistant's complete administrative tasks associated with the information desk, as well as provide tours to prospective students and families.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service or office setting, knowledge of residence halls and University resources recommended. Contact the Business Operations Supervisor of the residence halls/apartments for more information. Hiring of the Office Assistant position is ongoing.

Staff Safety

Following University Sunrise Plan and public health guidance, we are working to support our staff so they can work as safely as possible while maintaining protective measures to slow the spread of COVID-19. 

Staff will be required to wear face coverings (provided if needed), hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies will be provided in workspaces, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted in high-touch areas, and staff should conduct self-checks for fever prior to each shift and report any illness to their supervisor.
